Why Getups?

Great article posted on Dragondoor by Master RKC Dave Whitley on why we spend so much time on the Turkish Get-up (TGU)
Why Getups?

Was feeling tight and sore today(to much time on the computer) and was planning on taking today off from training. Read this article and decided on moving a bit.

Prep: brettzel, pumps, Indian clubs
16kg armbars

16kg TGU x 2/2
-hipflexor stretch
20kg TGU x 2/2
-more Indian clubs
24kg TGU x 2/2

This took about 30mins and I feel terrific!
